Accommodation

The CURRENT BOOKING FORM was designed around accommodation provision at our old venue. As the move to Lord Wandsworth College took place at short notice halfway through the business year, it is not practical to re-design the form at this stage.

The ACCOMMODATION PROVISION at Lord Wandsworth College is very different and provides the potential to upgrade for those who have already booked and opening up more scope for future bookings.

There are many more SINGLE, TWIN and TRIPLE BEDROOMS available, and we can make them available to more people whilst still being able to facilitate those with special needs. There are less DORMITORIES and most are of 3, 4 or 5 bed capacities for those who feel happier in a social group.

We still need to encourage shared dormitory options because the availability of single rooms in not limitless and we hope People who have developed Group Friendships over the years will still continue opting to share dormitory space.

CAR PARKING will also be much easier. You should be able to park your vehicle closer to your accommodation house and leave it there for the duration.

CARAVANS, MOTOR HOMES AND TENTS are still welcome where preferred, but it may be worth considering the following:

Where PRIVACY is the prime motivator for using your own portable facilities, we are encouraging users of these options to consider upgrading to Single or Twin rooms in the Accommodation Houses. There is a price difference, but the extra cost may be worthwhile when compared (in some cases) to the cost of towing a caravan over a long distance, the inconvenience of possible weather conditions, pitching issues, no electric hook ups, distance to the nearest on-site ablutions facilities etc. Those ALREADY BOOKED have already been offered upgrades where appropriate and their needs have been catered for upon request. As yet there is still PLENTY OF ACCOMMODATION availability including single and twin rooms and there is no need to ask about it prior to booking. Just go ahead and book your required accommodation.
